Jason Symes has recently bought the established security doors, security screens, decorative doors and fly screens business of 25 years from Murray Bridge and put it on wheels.

Jason is eager to provide his custom-made products and services across Yorke Peninsula and the entirety of South Australia.

“The truck is a mobile workshop, so I have everything I need in the truck to produce everything I do,” Jason says.

“First of all we come out, we measure up, and the door is specifically made for that door frame or window because they’re all different.

“If you’ve ever tried to fit a screen door to your house, you understand it’s not square (so) these are customised doors and window surrounds for each individual property.”

Jason manufactures with Alu-Gard security mesh, which he says is “impossible to get through, except if you’re carrying around an angle grinder and you want to make that much noise”.

He also prides himself on colour matching to original door framing, or going bold with a new shade if that is the customer’s wish.

With a turnaround of just a week, Jason will have your new door installed.

He brings a wealth of experience from previous roles working for real estate companies, repairing and replacing flyscreen doors and windows, and sliding door rollers and tracks.

And it’s a family business in the making, with wife Emily and teenage daughters Isabel, Edie and Mae lending a hand in dad’s one-man band.

With ultra-competitive pricing, Jason says there are “no limitations” to how far he can travel to secure your home.
