DRAKES Supermarkets and the Yorke Peninsula Country Times are serious about helping you with the rising cost of living by taking care of your grocery bills this April.

For the next five weeks, Drakes and YPCT are teaming up to offer readers a share in $1000 of vouchers, valid across all Drakes Supermarkets locations, including Wallaroo, Moonta and Ardrossan.

To enter, fill out the coupon in each week’s paper and lodge it at the YP Country Times office, 31 Goyder Street Kadina, or email it to ypct@ypct.com.au with “Drakes giveaway” in the subject line.

Each week during the giveaway, two lucky people will each receive vouchers totalling $100.

Drakes Supermarkets Ardrossan store manager Karen Hoppo said the giveaway could not have come at a better time as Easter and school holidays approach.

“At the moment, times are tough, with interest rates and food costs causing a lot of pressure for families,” Karen said.

“We wanted to be able to help the community by alleviating some pressure from their weekly shop.”

Drakes Wallaroo store manager Matt Jones said shoppers can help combat rising cost-of-living pressures by planning their shops and urges customers to pick up a Drakes catalogue to look for the specials.

“There’s plenty of specials in the weekly catalogues to help shoppers save on their bills,” Matt said.

“We try our best to keep our prices as low as possible and provide an option for everyone, from budget right the way through.

“We have a wide range and plenty of friendly staff available to help find those bargains.

“Drakes is South Australian owned so you can rest assured we support local products at the same time.”
