AN UPDATED and expanded gym has opened in Minlaton, offering 24/7 access, more classes, new equipment and allied health services.
Proprietors Ben Edwards and Abbie Atkinson say YP Health and Fitness gives a fresh approach to health and fitness in the local area.
“We offer a wide range of equipment and fitness options for people of all ages and abilities,” Ben said.
“Whether you’re a seasoned gym-goer or someone just starting their fitness journey, YP Health and Fitness has something for you.
“We have group fitness classes and 24/7 access, all with modern cardio and strength training equipment.
“You can also have a fitness program tailored to your needs, so there’s no excuse not to take the next step toward better health.”
Ben said the gym offers more than just workouts and equipment.
He is a qualified exercise physiologist and offers consultations at the gym and Pilates instructors, massage practitioners and dietetics advice are also available.
Ben and Abbie have plans to include other allied health professionals in the future.
“YP Health and Fitness is also designed to be a place where the community can come together to work on their physical and mental health and wellbeing,” he said.
“It’s a space where locals can meet new people, share goals and support one another on their fitness journeys.
“For anyone who’s been looking for a way to get fit, stay healthy or simply try something new, YP Health and Fitness is the place to be.
“It’s time to take advantage of this amazing new resource in our town and start working on your health and wellness goals.
“Here’s to a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.”
Ben said he and Abbie had been overwhelmed with the response since the gym opened on February 10.
“The uptake and community support have exceeded our expectations,” he said.
