PETSTOCK Country Wallaroo is set to hold an official grand opening this weekend Friday to Sunday, July 22-24.

The store first opened its doors last month, and is celebrating by offering 20 per cent off pet supplies storewide from Friday to Sunday, July 22-24.

The public has also been invited to join the PETstock team in store for free doughnuts on Saturday, as well as a sausage sizzle and reptile meet and greet across the weekend.

PETstock SA state manager Belinda Stansfield said the Wallaroo store offers a huge range of quality pet supplies.

“We stock premium food, flea and tick treatments, bedding, toys, accessories, and rural supplies,” Ms Stansfield said.

“We accommodate for dogs, cats, fish, birds, horses, reptiles and other small animals.

“Wallaroo is a great place to open a PETstock Country store, we can help service the community’s pet needs with products for both typical household pets, but also pets that require more space such as chickens, sheep and horses.”

Ms Stansfield said the store also offers a range of services including a do-it-yourself dog wash, personalised pet ID tags, fish tank water testing, plus free click and collect shopping.

“To encourage local pet adoption, our store will be supporting Little Claws Rescue, Wallaroo, to help find cats the loving homes they need,” she said.

“Our friendly team is available instore seven days a week to help with your pets’ needs and provide expert advice.

“Unlike our PETstock city stores, PETstock Country specially caters to hobby farmers stocking rural property essentials to assist with fencing, crop management, troughs and feeders, tanks, weed and pest control, merchandise, as well as livestock health and feed.”

PETstock Country Wallaroo has hired eight team members from the Wallaroo community.

“If you are interested in joining the PETstock Country team, please check out our online careers page to view current vacancies – prod.petstock.com.au/careers,” Ms Stansfield said.
