SHIPPY’S Home Hardware, Moonta and Wallaroo, is now proud to stock a range of Makita power tools.

To celebrate, the Moonta store is hosting Makita representatives and the Makita truck on-site from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday, August 16.

Members of the Moonta Golf Club will also be at the store cooking a sausage sizzle from 11.30am to 2.30pm, with funds going to charity.

“The area has been under serviced with access to quality power tools and we now stock almost the entire tradesperson’s range of tools, and tools not stocked can be easily ordered,” owner Gennaro Cammarano said.

“Makita’s experts will be in store to answer any questions, and we will have specials in store on the day.”

It has been a  couple of big months for Shippy’s Hardware, changing from Thrifty Link to Home Hardware, and acquiring the Wallaroo store.

“While the store marketing brand has changed, we’re still providing the same quality customer service and community support people have come to expect from Shippy’s,” Gennaro said.

“We are expanding our paint range too, giving tradespeople the opportunity to access high quality paints locally.

“We’ll be expanding our gardening section as well in the future.

“Timber is currently unavailable in Wallaroo but will return soon as works are completed to the building.

“We also stock a full range of Ox tools, Principal kitchens and are your local Webber specialists.”
