Kadina Memorial School

Kadina Memorial School students battled it out for the KMS Cup at their annual Sports Day carnival held across Thursday and Friday, March 9 and 10.

Southwood created history, claiming a clean sweep across both days to deliver its first win for the house since 2006, when it was a Kadina Memorial High School event.

Southwood finished with 3858 points, Rose placed second with 3663, Chandler third with 3496 and Heath fourth with 3246.

Harvest Christian College

Team war cries started the annual Harvest Christian College, Kadina, Sports Day on Friday, March 3, as teams got competitive in an attempt to secure a victory for their house.

It was a tight contest all day for the House Spirit Shield, with the final scores decided by the team relay and tug-o-war events.

Hughes was victorious with a final score of 2773 points, followed by Tyndale on 2671 and Lewis on 2401.

Harvest’s new oval, where the event was held, has proven to be a valuable asset for its Physical Education and sports programs.

Port Broughton/Bute/Snowtown

Port Broughton Area School hosted simultaneous Sports Day events on Friday, March 10.

Primary students competed against teams from Snowtown and Bute, with Snowtown taking the win.

Despite Blue fighting hard to take out the win in the secondary world, Gold came out on top for 2023.
